Aww, these are cute and so easy too. Think I might do this one. Take notice of the bit that said to cook the acorns first to kill any weevils that may be inside them.
..Oh, just read all the comments under the craft instructions. They could explode if you heat them in the oven, best to put them in a bag in the freezer....or in water... You could use walnuts instead... Best way was to dip them in paint put in a glass... etc.
Thanks for bringing the weevil extermination methods to everyones attention Nicky (quiksave), wouldnt want anyone having creepy crawlies about or getting disappointed by exploding acorns (though my lads would probably find it quite amusing)

these are so cute! Will have to see if I have some orange paint as this would be a great activity for half term.
